Art of educational garden at VMU Botanical Garden in Kaunas

Have you seen white, purple, round carrots? And yellow or white beets? These and many other goods grow in the Vytautas Magnus University Botanical Garden in Kaunas, in the educational garden.

Various species and varieties of vegetables, spices, fruit trees and bushes are grown here. The plants cultivated in the garden include the most popular and rarely grown vegetables, fruit bearing trees and bushes, as well as spices. The educational garden offers varieties of Latvian, Estonian, Swedish, Ukrainian and other samples of fruit trees and bushes little known in Lithuania.
