Exhibition of grapes

September 7-8th, 2018, the third and already become the traditional exhibition of GRAPES grown in Lithuania, which is organized by the Lithuanian Association of Winegrowers together with the Vilnius University Botanical Garden in Kairėnai, took place. More than 180 vine varieties, produced by Lithuanian vineyard professionals and amateurs, have been shown.

The berries displayed at the exhibition can be divided into three groups: frost resistant vine varieties, covered in the winter time and cultivated in a greenhouse. Any visitor who was interested and intending to grow grapes could evaluate his possibilities and consider the purpose for which he would like to grow grapes and choose the varieties suitable for him.
